Here are some "open" 2-Meter and 440 Mhz repeaters that are reachable from within and around the Victor Valley.  (NOTE: The list has not been finalized, and may include "unreachable" repeaters - Ed.)  An "open" repeater is one that any licensed Amateur Radio operator is welcome to use without obtaining prior permission from the repeater's trustee(s) and/or control operator(s).  Any repeater shown below has indicated its desire to be "open" either by stating so on the air, or by indicating same to their respective repeater coordination group (TASMA or SCRRBA).  You might be surprised by how far away some repeaters are, yet they are reachable from the Victor Valley (e.g. Catalina Island is regularly reachable at night time from Victorville!).
